Located on South Saskatchewan River, Remai Modern is the successor to Mendel Art Gallery. It houses some of the artworks that were exhibited in the popular institution, which closed down in 2015. Also known as Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink, Bessborough Skating Rink got its name from its location that sits right next to Delta Bessborough Hotel. You don’t need to bring your own gear or even be an expert in skating to have fun here. In fact, ice skates and even skating lessons are offered here for free, although tips are, of course, welcome. There’s an outdoor fire pit and a shelter on the side if you want to warm up before you hit the ice again. The outdoor skating rink is open from December to March.

This destination is perfect for thrill-seekers who want to get their adrenaline pumping. Groups of friends or families will have a lot of fun racing each other on the track. Strawberry Ranch used to offer strawberries and provided guests the opportunity to pick their own berries. A few years ago, however, the owners decided to switch gears by not planting strawberries anymore. This decision does not mean that they no longer welcome visitors. Every summer, they open their doors to people who want to explore their corn maze, which they change every year for their guests’ entertainment. During this period, they also have concession stands available on the site to offer food and drinks to visitors.
