1. Laoshan green tea
Laoshan green tea is known as one of the most popular teas of the region. Each green tea leaf is lovingly nurtured and picked by hand to deliver the best taste. We’d recommend doing your research before you buy to make sure that you are buying directly from one of the local growers. Tea has been grown in this region for many years and there are many well-established families. You should expect the taste to be a classical mix of thick, pungent, savory and vegetal.
2. Shell carvings
The price of these elaborate, intricate and unique carvings depends on the rarity of the shell. One of the best places to pick up a shell carving in Qingdao is the shell-carving art factory.
