4. The yellow house of Morelia

This quaint yellow house is full of interesting details and charm, built in the contemporary colonial style. It’s located near the Morelia zoo and just ten minutes away from the historic town center in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s easy to catch a taxi to go anywhere in Morelia from the yellow house.

Stay in this traditional Mexican style cottage for just 25 USD (450 MXN) a night. With two bedrooms, one queen bed and a sofa sleeper, it easily accommodates four guests. If you’d like to stay with a larger group, there is a 15 USD (270 MXN) charge per person per night. It’s a bright and open space with brick walls and interesting decor. You’ll have access to a kitchenette, internet, and cable TV. You can even bring your pets with you if you’d like. It’s just fifteen minutes from Morelia’s historic town square, so you’ll easily be able to catch a taxi or bus.
