Tirana is the capital of Albania, a city with vibrant culture, entertainment, and nightlife. If you’re visiting Tirana, make sure to explore must-see attractions such as the National Historical Museum - the country’s largest museum. Another interesting site to visit is the Bunk'Art, a Cold War bunker turned into a museum for modern and contemporary arts. For those who prefer a more relaxed vibe, the Grand Park of Tirana is perfect for strolling and fishing. And if you want a more countryside vibe, Mount Dajti National Park is great for sightseeing. The city has comfortable hotels, shops, and theaters, and because the city is quite small, a walking tour is the best way to get to know all the prominent tourist spots in a short period.

5. Ali Demi (from USD 80)

Ali Demi is the oldest neighborhood in Tirana. Named after a World War II hero, this part of Tirana resembles old Albania, with streets lined up with Communist-era buildings. Cafes with artistic interiors welcome guests through soothing R&B music playing in the background. Local shops sell all kinds of antique and second-hand goods, while street vendors offer a variety of fresh produce.
