Make sure to bring loose change. Many establishments in Manila do not accept cards or digital payments. It's still best to bring some cash on hand.

If you really want to fully experience Manila life, take public transportation such as jeepneys and tricycles. It might be a little bit crowded but it is truly a very cheap way to get to your destination. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help. If you're not sure where you're going, ask a local for directions.

Wear comfortable shoes. You'll be doing a lot of walking, so take out your best and comfortable shoes to explore the streets of Manila.

You're not really in Manila if you haven't tried Jollibee. Jollibee is a staple fast food for every Filipino. It is a must try to really experience the local life. It is ubiquitous in every mall in Manila.

When I went skydiving, I wore a long sleeve training shirt and leggings for maximum comfort. No one wants to be uncomfortable while falling from the sky, so I suggest you wear your most comfortable clothes when going skydiving. Any fitness wear would do! 

If you're already at the Balete Tree, you can buy your souvenirs there. Since Siquijor is known as the capital of mystic activities, they sell a variety of voodoo dolls, amulets, potions and herbal drinks. I bought a looooot of pasalubongs for my friends and family - mostly voodoo doll key chains and fridge magnets. I really had fun looking at the trinkets.
