Daryl loves seeing and learning about new places, be they real, written, or digital. His experiences both as an ESL teacher and as an academic tutor proved to be a good refresher for his writing skills. Strange as it may sound though, he is actually apprehensive about the act of traveling. He badly wishes there was a magic spell that could easily whisk him in the blink of an eye, saving him from the discomfort and boredom of road travel. What he does appreciate, however, are the stories and histories of the destination, treating them as souvenirs and tokens woven from words and passed forward from one person to another.
