A little unusual, a lot awesome, and very Portland, this treehouse has been lauded by Conde Nast Traveler as “officially the coolest treehouse in the world”. Located in the hills of SW Portland, one mile (1.6 km) from Oregon Health and Science University and three miles (5 km) from downtown Portland, this Airbnb has impressive views of the city. While the host resides upstairs, guests have the entire lower level to themselves, which includes a queen bed, private bath, living area, and shared laundry room. It has a shared entry, but the host will happily share a morning cup of coffee with guests if they’d like. While the city has good public transportation, the host doesn’t recommend using it from this Portland treehouse Airbnb, so consider renting a car to get around.
