The host is very green conscious so she tries to utilize eco-friendly cleaning products and toiletries when possible. You can bring your pet if you wish, for a 10 USD per pet/per night fee. She only asks that guests who bring in their fur-babies pick up after them in the yard. She does have plenty of poop-bags! Bring along a crate or kennel when necessary.
Molly is so friendly and helped us to explore good clubs and events for new year eve. She showed us everything we might need and made sure everything is well for us, even the room temperature. I wish we could hangout for a longer time but she had to work. Soheil

2. Renovated room at Saline River Ranch
This is a secluded private room and bath in the countryside near the Saline River. There is a large elevated deck for bird watching, wildlife spotting, and also evening star gazing. The host says you can see the Milky Way from here! This is an ideal setting to relax because it is very tranquil.
The host has a house cat and small dog, chickens, dairy goats, Jersey cows, horses, and farm dogs. That’s plenty of fauna! There is also no charge for extra people! Isn’t that awesome to hear?

It is a neat, clean, and cozy house that has been well preserved, with a small town feel. The house is located in the town, and might remind you of visiting your grandparents’ farmhouse. This house was built in the late 1800’s, but underwent renovations and what you see in the pictures is what it is like today. It is nestled in the small Amish community of Yoder, Kansas only 30 min from Wichita and 15 min from the fairgrounds.
The upstairs has an open bedroom with a queen size bed and a half bath. Two single mattresses are available upon request for additional floor space bedding. A crib is also available upon request.
Great place to get away from it all but not TOO far away from it all. The hosts made us feel like we had a real home to come back to in the evenings. No matter what your plans are, I recommend making this location as part of them. Jared

This house is located about 12 miles (19.3 mi) outside of Lawrence. It is pretty close to Clinton Lake. The drive is said to be worth it for the quiet farm location. The house was built to overlook the Wakarusa Valley. It is surrounded by corn and hayfields, and there are friendly neighbors. The roads are all great for walking & many are paved. The house has three bedrooms and loads of space to relax. There is a 360 degree wraparound deck that features views over the 10 acres (4 hectares) of property, which has a pond and a small vineyard.
Another wonderful visit. This is the second time the six of us stayed at Rachel’s home in the country for our annual reunion of high school friends and we still love it. It is warm and inviting, quiet and secluded. Yet, it is a very short drive into Lawrence. It’s a great get away. But I’d also recommend it for people visiting Lawrence. Ashwood Farm is in Saint George, Kansas. The entire house can sleep up to nine guests and there are three bedrooms, six beds, and a bathroom. Additionally, there is heating, cable television, a washer, and a dryer. A laptop-friendly workspace is provided, as is Wi-Fi. There is no oven in the kitchen area, but you will find breakfast items available in the kitchen, such as milk, eggs, breakfast bars, and pastries.

The bedrooms have been newly-renovated for your comfort. The property is located just five minute on I-435 from the main bypass surrounding Kansas City. This allows for quick access to downtown (less than 30 minutes), Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadiums (less than 30 minutes), and the Country Club Plaza (20 minutes). It is recommended that you have a vehicle or car service to travel from place to place.

10. Comfortable room close to the airport
This roomy two bedroom, 1.5 bath home is the perfect location to the Hutchinson Municipal Airport, the downtown loop (which is a complex layout of highways), the Kansas State Fair, Prairie Dunes, and offers easy access to Hwy 50, Hwy 61, and Hwy 96! The cozy guest room has been renovated recently and is ready for guests! The host adds that a new mattress has been recently purchased and electronics are all advanced so everything is up to date! The room is tastefully decorated, making it comfortable and relaxing. The room fits two adults; a child can sleep on a cot or on the large chaise in the living room if need be.
I was working in the area found this great room to rent. I got a code to unlock the front door so I could come and go as needed. The house was clean and orderly. Quite neighborhood, good location. This is a country home with a lovely pool and environmental benefits from solar, wind power, and organic surroundings. The place is large, quiet, and comfortable. The hosts stay right next door on the same property, so you can feel free to ask them anything. There are two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, but advance notice is needed to open up the top floor. There is a huge above ground pool, outdoor seating and spacious grounds. The property is located conveniently to I-35 and Kansas turnpike, K-96, and greater east Wichita.
Jennifer and Kent are wonderful hosts! The space was even more awesome than the pictures showed. I loved that it was out in the country. The gas heating stove made this large space feel so cozy. They were super accommodating and friendly. This is a great place for families and even couples just wanting to relax. I will definitely be back and actually can hardly wait to stay here again. Located just a few feet away from South Park, this fully renovated historic house is on a prime location on a brick-lined street. Parkside Inn embodies everything great about Old Lawrence. The house has two bedrooms (with queen beds) and a full bath on the main level, and a full master suite (king bed) with a jetted tub upstairs. An open floor-plan in the living room and kitchen makes it a great space for entertaining or just to enjoy relaxing.
