Italy is undoubtedly a beautiful place, full of well-preserved history and traditions dating back thousands of years. Several Italian traditions have also become mainstays in Western weddings - the throwing of grain or confetti symbolizes fertility, while the tradition of the bouquet toss signifies passing on fortune and happiness to the next lady. With numerous scenic and picture-perfect locations for a dream wedding, many foreigners look to hold their ceremonies here. Fortunately, the process and experience have mostly been streamlined. There are many things to note, for instance, there’s no official residency required to get married on Italian soil. You would also need legal documents such as the Atto Notorio from the Italian Consulate and Nulla Osta from your country’s Consulate. If you are looking for beautiful locations for a ceremony, make sure to check out this list of the best Airbnb wedding venues in Italy.
We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) host status, recent reviews, location, venue options, costs and packages, amenities, guest accommodation, and event restrictions and regulations. The image galleries get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on January 03, 2025.
