Once inside the Aquatic Zoo Water Park, it’s time to put on the bathing suit and join in the fun. The park has been created keeping entire families in mind, so its amenities cater to all ages, including children and adults.

Have a splashing good time

The park features two water slides that will catapult you straight into the Lazy River, single or double inner tubes that you can stay in while slowly moving along the river and a swimming pool where visitors can practice their swimming techniques. The more courageous can dive straight into the swimming pool from the higher or lower dive. There is also a children’s splash pad for younger children where they will get to enjoy going on two smaller slides, joining different interactive adventures with animal sounds, a tipping bucket, and a zero-depth entry pool.

A full-day visit to Aquatic Zoo

Visitors stay here for a couple of hours or half a day, but most of them end up staying the entire day. Aside from all the water amenities, there are several lounges for sunbathing and relaxing under the blue skies. There’s also a full-service concession area with all kinds of snacks and drinks, so no need to bring anything extra.

Visitors need not worry about food and drinks, as there are plenty of options available on-site. For food, they can opt for pizza, pretzels, hot dogs, nachos, hamburgers, and cheeseburgers, while the list of drinks includes soft drinks, slushies, ice tea, and bottled water.

For snacks and dessert, choose between different flavors of ice cream, candy bars, and potato chips.

Safety

On-site facilities

Visitors can store their belongings in one of the on-site lockers. Each locker is available for a limited time, and the number of lockers is limited. Parking is also available on the premises.

Food and drinks

A wide selection of food and drinks is available on-site. Guests are not allowed to bring any outside food on the premises.

How to get there


The Aquatic Zoo is situated in Lincoln Park, just east of Exit 94, from I-57. The park is easy to spot, as the slides and tubes are visible for afar.

Car

The easiest and most convenient way to get to Aquatic Zoo is by car. There’s ample and accessible parking available on-site.

Bus

Public transportation is also available. Visitors can take the bus to Garden Glen Apartments, and then walk for another approximately five-six minutes to the park.

Taxi

How to book tickets


Children under the age of two have free access inside the water park. Children aged between 2 and 17, as well as seniors aged 65 and older, will have to pay a fee of 6 USD to enter the park. The tickets for adults cost 8 USD.

Season passes are also available and can be purchased at the Mt.Vernon Parks and Recreation Department.

Two types of party packages are also available: the Zebra Package that costs 75 USD and the Lion Package that costs 110 USD. Each of the packages includes the entry fee, soft drinks, and concession items for the entire group.

Children can take swim lessons at the Aquatic Zoo Water Park. The price is 40 USD/session, and there are 8 classes per session.
