Ekiben is a rice bento box that is usually sold at train stations in Japan. Despite having a Japanese name, Ekiben does not sell authentic Japanese food. They have a menu line that tends towards fusion and is taken from various regions in Asia. It has a bun and rice with a variety of toppings. Some of the must-try items on the menu include Taiwanese curry fried chicken), Thai chicken meatballs, tofu brah and crispy catfish. With different presentation styles, Ekiben is a must-visit when you are in Baltimore.

Thai Arroy Baltimore is a restaurant with a mainstay menu from Thailand. It has authentic Thai dishes on the menu, along with lots of vegetarian and gluten-free items. Rice, traditional curries, noodles, and more can be ordered here. Pineapple fried rice with duck, and pad Thai are crowd favorites. While there are dozens of Asian restaurants in Baltimore, Baltimore’s Thai Arroy is among the best.
