1. The Bygone

There’s magic in the air #TheBygone

First on our list is the glitzy restaurant and rooftop bar, the Bygone. Perched on the top of the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, the Bygone echoes the glamour of the roaring 20s. Dress to impress, as you nosh on succulent oysters fresh from the ocean and sip from exquisite whiskies stocked at the Bygone’s extensive bar.

To end the night on a high, as you and your date gaze out upon Baltimore’s city lights, order the house special cocktails that will be served with old-school charm by the unobtrusive wait staff, who will cater to your every whim.

Next on the list is Woody’s Cantina. We love this rooftop bar for its sweeping views of the Baltimore Harbour and amazing Tex-Mex bites and cocktails. Come for the sunset and enjoy the fun, casual vibes of the bar. The tacos here are some of the best in town and do not leave without trying at least one of Woody’s Cantina’s famous handcrafted cocktails. For early birds, brunch at Woody’s Cantina is also a great option to check out the same view in the day!

Expect a bevvy of beautiful people drinking at the LB Skybar, but even they pale in comparison to the glittering Baltimore night skyline that can be seen from the bar. In Baltimore’s cultural and historic Mount Vernon district where you can also find some of the best cafes in the city, we have Topside, another favourite rooftop bar and garden restaurant that Trip101 loves! From this bar, you can see the whole of Chesapeake Bay – a prelude to the seafood-forward dishes that dominate Topside’s menu. One of the best pairings you can have at Topside are the Mussels & Clams or Catfish & Chips with any one of the interesting craft beers on tap or in bottles and cans. For those who would like to get a little fancier, Topside does some mean craft cocktails, as well!

Stop by for beers (Budweiser, of course) and burgers when an Oriole game is on because the deck of this bar overlooks the centre field! An additional sweetener is the fireworks displays on most Friday nights after the games and live music from bands that play for Saturday home games.

While drinking, remember to line your stomach with some of their hearty pasta, which is still homemade at Cafe Gia, and their decadent Osso Buco Milanese, which is a speciality of the house!
