Home to the true Nizami heritage, Hyderabad has it all - the unique architecture, iconic monuments and pearls. This beautiful city also features amazing hotels with hot tub as well as Airbnb vacation rentals. But wait! There is something much more significant, much more precious than pearls, Hyderabad is the “Biryani Hub” of India! Aromatic basmati rice blended with exotic spices, cooked over a slow flame. Soul food can’t get better than that! Biryani has been (and continues to be) the go-to meal for cheat days. Come to think of it, who can possibly resist some Dum Biryani with raita? Craving for some? Well, be boggled by the explosion of flavours in your mouth at these biryani spots in Hyderabad.

1. Dum Pukht Begum's at ITC Kohenur

Rated one of the best biryanis in Hyderabad, the signature dish Dum Pukht Begum is a sure-shot way to melt your heart. At Dum Pukht, the meat is cooked over a slow flame in a sealed container with almost no water. This allows the raw meat to soak in its own juices and accentuate its flavour. While the Chef’s speciality is still in the kitchen, experience the royal hospitality of ITC with decors of impeccable white and hues of violet.

I also really love the Biryani from Sarvi as it is an economical option on days I do not want to cook after a long day of work. If you are on a long vacation and have fallen in love with Biryani, then trust me, you can order from Sarvi everyday!
