3. Cerveza Mastra: Microbrewery in Montevideo

Posted by Cerveza Mastra on Tuesday, 23 August 2016

The first microbrewery in Montevideo, this place was started in 2006, when the founders came back from a trip to Argentina and realized that Uruguay want’s making enough craft beer. That’s how the magic started. On October 2007, the Mastra beer is launched in the market with a lot of success and since then it’s been pouring to its clients.

Alcohol has a lot of laws and controls in this country and it’s usually not cheap, but here, you can get pints for around 130 Uruguayan Pesos which would be less than 5 USD or even go for a sampler of four different beers for 260 Uruguayan Pesos that are less than 10 USD. Go for a taste of the best beer in Uruguay and have a good time in this popular bar.
