Georgian food carries influences from European and Middle Eastern dishes. Some of the best restaurants in Eastern Europe and especially Russia are Georgian, a sign of how delicious this cuisine is although it is still mostly unknown in the rest of the world. Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia and home to some of the best restaurants in the country. Even if most restaurants in town will serve you great food, some of them really stand out from the rest for the quality of their food, selection of drinks and a true Georgian service.
