2. SIAM Park Tenerife

The spectacular Siam Park is beyond a water park with its Dragon, Tower of Power and the Mekong Rapids to pump your adrenaline. Siam Park is a thrilling adventure land, set in the tropical paradise of Adeje Tenerife. In fact, every ride is well supervised, with the presence of lifeguards. The magical world of Siam is enveloped in a Thai theme exhibiting lush and tranquil environment throughout.

You don’t have to be an adrenaline junkie, to enjoy the park. If you are a non swimmer, you can still enjoy the slides. You can dine at one of the lovely cafes, although expect to pay 3 USD for a coke and 3.10 USD for chips. There’s plenty of food to explore, we recommend you keep a budget of 56 USD for the day. The park is on a hill, so either you can walk back into town or use the free bus service.

3. El Teide and La Caleta National Park

Teide National Park was declared a National Park in 1954 and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007. This park is one great wonder, with its unique inventory of craters, volcanoes, lava flows and diverse materials in impressive shapes and colors. You will be amazed by the diversity of its huge rivers of petrified lava, eroded rocks and colossal mineral mounds. You can choose, from one of the many services for visitors.

Likewise, La Caleta National Park is another fascinating spot, for those who want to feel Atlantic ocean by their feet. This national park is abundant in natural beauty and panoramic views, if sometimes too windy. While walking, you may also meet the happy hippy commune, who live in shacks. The beach here is called the ‘Hippy Beach’ and is very safe to swim in. Enjoy the peace and connect with earth’s best formations.

Adeje offers great food along the sandy beaches, shores and a vibrant yet serene island life. While in Adeje, dine at La Cupula, that offers authentic Spanish cuisine, followed by Indian restaurant Bombay Babu, popular for its tandoori specialities. Also, try Monte Christo, that happens to be the best Italian restaurant in the city. There’s plenty of variety, from Mediterranean to global cuisine waiting to be discovered. We also suggest you visit Olive Garden Deli, that offers wonderful roast lamb and turkey. Above all, do not leave Adeje until you have tried the fabulous cocktail at the local Ted Risto bar.

6. Parasailing and paragliding at Costa Adeje Beach

Adeje Beach is also very popular for fun parasailing activities. Tenerife covers parasailing for all the prime beaches in the south. Usually the tour begins when you get picked up from your preferred beach destination and escorted to the main speed boat. Then you get briefed about the parachute, safety equipment and other relevant information. Although, you are accompanied by a crew member therefore all you need to do is relax and enjoy the amazing views. You even get to take a quick dip in the water before you land with the parachute in the boat. Canarian Tesauro, Fly Guide and Foreign Commando are a few other notable paragliding tour organizers in this vicinity.

Watching the world’s largest mammals surfacing and breaching is an extraordinary thrill to experience. Atlantic Eco Experience, Mustcat, Flipper Uno Whale Watching Excursions, Roulette Luxury Sail Boat, Las Romanticas and Big Smile Luxury Charters offer the best dolphin and whale watching experience in Costa Adeje. As a matter of fact, this one luxurious activity is preferred by most travelers to this Spanish tropical town.

8. Masca Walk

Hiking the Masca Barranco in Tenerife is a unique adventure in itself. It’s not an easy trail to hike, therefore we highly recommend mountain boots for this trip. The walk is unbelievably beautiful, however many visitors carry a stick to cover the distance quickly. This gigantic mountainous terrain is flourished with flora and fauna, although the ever changing weather requires everyone to be prepared. It’s a strenuous walk, and as much as nature lovers enjoy it, we don’t recommend it to people with heart and blood pressure problems.
