Hawaiian Falls The Colony presents you with liberation from the summer heat and gives your family the opportunity to share experiences that they’ll remember fondly for many years. 5. Stewart Creek Park

Stewart Creek Park is a beautiful park operated by the city of The Colony. The park has numerous activities accessible to the public, which include a nice beach area, some horseshoe pits, beach volleyball areas, camping areas and a hiking trail. Stewart Creek Park also provides a four-lane boat ramp with a dock that extends well into the lake.
Stewart Creek Park is a huge park and the local’s favorite on the lake. There aren’t too many trees in this park, so you need to come in early to get a nice spot beneath a tree for shade. The park provides well-maintained restrooms on the site.

6. Hidden Cove Park & Marina

Hidden Cove Park is spread across 190 hectares (470 acres), containing an overabundance of outstanding outdoor entertaining prospects such as boating, fishing, camping, hiking, skiing and much more. A full-service harbor is located at the park, along with numerous flawless spots for picnicking or nature-watching. An entry fee for each person entering the park is required. Please bear in mind that entry fees are not waived with any rental fee that needs to be paid. Cabins that have the capacity to house around six people are available in the park. These cabins are fully furnished, including a kitchenette.

7. Shoreline Trail

Shoreline Trail is a 9-kilometer (6-mile), moderately trafficked trail near The Colony, Texas that features a lake. The Colony Shoreline Trail is a 3-meter (10-feet) wide, linear, natural surface trail built along the southeastern shore of Lewisville Lake. The trail is good for all skill levels and offers a myriad of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash.
While on the trail, take a look around the 100 hectares (250 acres) of wildlife habitat and park along the picturesque shore of Lewisville Lake. The Colony Shoreline Trail offers more than 5 kilometers (3 miles) of parkland and wildlife preserve for hikers, bikers, walkers, runners, gawkers, talkers or anyone that just needs to get outside.
