5. Brookgreen Gardens

These spectacular botanical gardens are home to 250-year-old oak trees, set among immaculately landscaped gardens and greenery. Brookgreen Gardens also has beautiful sculptures throughout the grounds, as well as galleries housing over 2,000 works of art by 425 artists.

Visitors can also learn about the rice plantations located on these grounds and the history behind them. Brookgreen Gardens was created in 1931, sharing much beauty and history over the years. On these lovely grounds one can also visit the natural habitat zoo, a butterfly house and peaceful garden fountains. 7. Carolina Coast Rover Tours
