Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie, Florida, has served as one of Davie’s main tourist attractions for more than 40 years. Originally the Grounds was established as a rodeo arena, but as the demand for more multifaceted activities increased, the arena developed to meet the requests for such distinct events such as monster trucks, air boat shows, car shows, specialty shows, top name concert entertainers, dog and horse shows, family events, and industrial shows. 4. Flamingo Gardens
Flamingo Gardens is a tropical paradise comprising of 60 acres (24.3 hectares) of animals and greenery. The Everglades Sanctuary part of the gardens is home to the most comprehensive collection of Florida indigenous wildlife, including panthers, eagles, bobcats, alligators, peacocks, otters, and of course, flamingos. The Wray Botanical Collection features over 3,000 native, tropical, rare and exotic, and subtropical plants and trees. Flamingo Gardens is one of the earliest botanical gardens in South Florida - it was originally established as an orange grove and is home to 21 ‘Champion’ trees, the largest trees of their species, including the largest orange tree in Florida.

5. Vista View Park
Vista View Park offers a broad variety of activities within its 272 acres (110 hectares) of green meadows and rolling hills. Some of the many facilities in the park include basketball courts, an airstrip for electric remote-controlled planes and glider pilots, two playgrounds, fishing docks, and an equestrian corral. The park is on the site of a former landfill and obtained an environmental clean bill in the 1990s. The twin hills of the park are one of the highest spots in the county and from the top of the hills, one can see downtown Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades to the east and the boundless region of the Everglades to the west.

Tree Tops Park is a triumphant story for conservation, as this former dairy farm was once scheduled to become a golf course and golfing community before Broward County preserved it for its residents, in 1980. The park is an oasis of ancient live oaks, wetlands, and tropical, hardwood hammocks, covering more than 140 acres (56.6 hectares). In addition to its walking paths amid the majestic oak canopy, this expansive park is also home to equestrian trails and canoe waterways and connects directly to the Pine Island Ridge Natural Area.
