Waddill Wildlife Refuge is located in Baton Rouge, a 22-minute drive south of Denham Springs. The depths of the natural world are best experienced in this 96-hectare (237-acre) hardwood bottomland. What makes Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World a unique Denham Springs attraction is that it features an enormous boat showroom, NASCAR, and exceptionally designed aquarium in the bayou-themed store itself. Because of its architecture and design, the shop has earned multiple awards on its cap. Kidz Korner Playland is the sole playground in the Greater Baton Rouge area, and it’s specially designed for children with special needs. In the last two years, the fair was held in South Park, where all-time favorite carnival rides are present. If you are not into rides, there is food and live bands all over the place.
