What a beautiful weekend we had. The cool air and wind were a real respite from the spring heat that has been a bit on...Posted by Local Beauty, Tampa Bay on Monday, 8 May 2017
The gardens are beautifully designed, plants carefully labeled with avenues to walk in natural areas. The gardens are grouped by type and origin. The rose garden has different types of roses, color, regular size, mini roses and beautiful trees. The butterfly is an open air garden. The butterflies here are relaxed they stayed perched on flowers for longer lengths of time and frequently land on visitors. The tropical area had fragrant gardenias, orchids and many fruit trees, including banana, pineapple and orange.
All plants and flowers are marked so you can plan your round. The covered picnic tables are ideal for a picnic lunch. The aromas from the flowers are intoxicating and the garden has many chairs in shade to sit in and just enjoy the moment.
