The Museum is located in the Whittier neighborhood, with a very large collection of more than 80,000 pieces of Asian, American and European art that travels through 4,000 years of world history. Each piece is explained very well and is very informative. For parents, you can bring your kids along, there’s a gift shop with a lovely children’s section. There are no charges for the main part of the museum, the special exhibition section is accessible at an additional cost. On Thursday and Friday evenings the museum is open late. 11. Unwind at Sheridan Memorial Park

Located on the Mississippi River, the Sheridan Veterans Memorial was opened in 2014 to honor all Minnesota veterans. The park features a 30-foot (9-meter) diameter steel sculpture at the center of the memorial which is lit from within. You will also get to use the perimeter walk which opens to ten sitting alcoves with benches and vertical markers, each bearing a description of one of the ten conflicts in which Minnesotans have served.
