Last but not least in our list of things to do in Seneca, is to pay a visit to Newry Mill, a historical landmark that perfectly illustrates the southern textile mill. The building started operating as a cotton mill back in 1893 and shut its doors in 1975 after years of ups and downs in its history. At the very beginning, workers were brought here and placed in cottages that soon became a town named Newry.
