The Swamp Park is an adventure park that has something for everyone. It has 10 zip-lining tours that provide a bird’s-eye view of the park. One can also take a sunset tour to witness a breathtaking view of the sunset along the horizon. There are more than 20 well-maintained golf courses in Brunswick County, with Rivers Edge Golf Club being closest to Shallotte. In 2001, it was ranked by the Golf Magazine in their list of “Top New Courses You Can Play”. It was designed by Arnold Palmer’s design company, and it usually takes two to three rounds before you get accustomed to the golf course.
