The most romantic of the things to do on our list and a favorite with couples, this little beach has many secluded nooks for picnics and is easily accessible by the boardwalk, with established paths to the beach. Located on the Atlantic Ocean, the waves are calm and the water too shallow for swimming, but it is a great place for wading, kite surfing, or just taking a relaxing stroll. Lonely Planet has voted Anne’s Beach as one of the Best Hidden Beaches of South Florida. There is plenty of wildlife to see here, such as hermit crabs and jellyfish and the sand is very fine, reminiscent of a place right out of a holiday brochure.
