Tip from tour guide
Visiting Rome in winter? Then, you can expect less crowds and a quieter Rome with a more local feel to it. You can find a lot of sales during January for shopping, and the weather varies from hazy skies to bright sunny days that are warmer than you’d expect! Hotels are usually much cheaper during the off-season, the food is just as delicious, and tickets are less likely to sell out to the attractions you want to visit. It’s a great time to explore the city at a slower pace for the experience of a lifetime.
