With numerous species of plants and trees plus a path down to the Black Creek, the Trail is good for walking, jogging, and biking. The trail has many paths it passes through a wooded area, comes out in a commercial area along a Wal-Mart and restaurants than an open area. You can cross the river and reach the Orange Park. At the main parking area, there are bathrooms and picnic tables. The trail is designed in a way that walkers enjoy a wonderful nature experience on the trail.

9. Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts

Thrasher-Horne Center is a nice theater with easy access, comfortable parking, and wonderful acoustics. The seating is angled up so that you can see the excellent performance of the artists from any seat in the house. The theater has a nice bar and drinks facility at reasonable rates. Cokes and water are cheap and with a lid, on your drink, you can take it into the Theatre.

This is one of the best golf clubs laced with beautiful grounds, gorgeous outside seating area and great food opportunity at Talons restaurant. With a good variety of holes, the golf course is good for all levels of play. It is a good one for kid’s lessons and playing. Most members are gracious and helpful with kids. The park has everything for all ages. There are pavilions for picnics or parties, wooden play features, fresh water fountain, swings, bright colored gym-sets, vending machine and entry gate resembling a fort. Although it’s on busy Kingsley Road in Orange Park, this park is ideal for birthday parties as it’s fenced in and the kids can play and run without any concern. The Clarke House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is just beyond the playground stands.
