6. Hike in Lake Seminole Park

Florida has some of the most excellent parks in the United States and the Lake Seminole Park is no exception. The 3-mile-long (4.8 kilometer) trail will take you through dense and shaded growth which is helpful during summer afternoons. Water fountains have also been strategically placed for humans and their dogs along the trail. It is also a nice place for those who enjoy bird watching since the park contains many different species of birds.
A lake which is a part of the Long Bayou can also be accessed by visitors who can enjoy kayaking and canoeing. The park can get busy during the weekends, however, there is still a lot of parking space available and there is no entry fee.

7. Have a picnic at Boca Ciega Millenium Park

This park, just like the Lake Seminole Park, is also one of the nicest places to relax and hang out in Seminole. It includes all the necessary amenities such as picnic shelters, a playground, trails and a boardwalk that goes through the mangroves leading to an observation tower that provides visitors with excellent views of the bay, the park and beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.
There is also a natural launch for those who would like to kayak and canoe in the park. Dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk so this is something that should be kept in mind before visiting the park with pets.

8. Bring your kids to Treasure Island Fun Center

The Treasure Island Fun Center is a must-see if you are visiting Seminole with your children. A large number of arcade games are available to keep both kids and adults busy for hours on end. The place also introduced a card system recently which saves you from the hassle of carrying around tickets. An onsite pizzeria and snack bar is also available for those who would like to munch on something while competing. Rapp Brewing company is one of the few places in Seminole with excellent craft beer. Visitors get a chance to taste and choose from over 40 beers which means that there is something for everyone. The place does not serve food, however, a food truck visits occasionally and other places to eat nearby are also available. 10. Play a round of golf at Seminole Lake Country Club

Fancy playing some golf or tennis? You should definitely check out the Seminole Lake Country Club. It is an excellent golf course to play on with reasonable prices and multi-round packages which include range balls and lunch as well. If you are in the mood for a tasty and cold treat on a hot Florida day then you should stop by at Rita’s Ice Cream. 12. Rent a bike at Trail Sport Bicycles

Trail Sport Bicycles are one of the cheapest bicycle rental places in Seminole. While other places charge 30 USD or even 40 USD per day for bicycle rentals, Trail Sport only charges 15 USD for the first day and 10 USD for every day after that. The quality of the service offered is excellent as prices include helmets, locks, a pump, and spare tube to accompany you on your bicycle journey.
They also do sales and service along with rentals and offer great recommendations on what trails to visit and what to see. The shop also has easy access to the beautiful Pinellas Trail system which stretches from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Spring.

The Seminole Lanes Bowling Center is an excellent place where people of all ages can enjoy bowling. It was renovated fairly recently with improvements to the seating area among other things. The shoes provided are clean while the electronic scoreboard works easily and accurately. A snack bar is also available with a nice variety of choices like hotdogs, burgers and sandwiches.
The bowling center is packed on the weekends because of the Galactic bowling event held after league bowling matches. Prices start at 3.75 USD per game for adults and All-You-Can-Bowl offers starting at 11 USD, which includes shoe rental and sales tax.
