This 8.5-acre (3.4-hectare) public park features a mangrove preserve, occupying about 80% of its total area. One of these days, feel free to ride a boat and explore the scenic waterscapes of this community park. You may also catch a good view of the mangrove-filled Middle River by strolling through the long and winding boardwalk that leads to the back of the park, where you will find more amenities. On-site, you’ll find picnic tables, benches, a barbecue grill, restrooms, an outdoor gym, and walking trails. Sometime in 2019, the city turned a portion of its grassy fields into a lovely dog park. Treat your family, including your furry pals, to an afternoon of fun at Colohatchee Park.

The World AIDS Museum and Educational Center, situated at 1201 NE 26th St. in Wilton Manors, Florida, opened on May 15, 2014. The AIDS Museum and Educational Center started as an HIV bolster gathering, Positive Attitudes, at the Pride Center in Fort Lauderdale. The Museum of Discovery and Science is a historical center situated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is one of the biggest exhibition halls of its kind in Florida and has the most guests of any gallery in the state. The Museum of Discovery and Science moved to its present area in downtown Fort Lauderdale in 1992.

The “Incomparable Gravity Clock” before the passage is one of the principle components of the historical center and is one of just three on the planet. The other two are in Japan and Mexico. The historical center plays host to birthday parties, (ocean) turtle strolls and camp-ins, and has its own late spring camp.

15. Stranahan House


Stranahan House is the home of Fort Lauderdale pioneers Frank and Ivy Stranahan.
