The host has done an excellent job at restoring the cabin and maintaining all its vintage features, like the oversized windows, French doors and original 95-year-old fir wooden floors, which will make you never want to leave! The Kiefer Cabin is a newly-refurbished cabin, less than five minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park, with a scenic view of Longs Peak, which is a prominent summit. It is surrounded by ponderosa pines and many rock outcroppings located throughout the 1.9-acre (0.8-hectare) property. The cabin layout consists of one bedroom on the main floor, one eat-in kitchen and a bathroom. You can enjoy awesome views of the mountains and wildlife from every room in this cabin, which is a real treat for mountain lovers! This is definitely one of the best cabins near Rocky Mountains National Park.

The mountain views were magnificent (from every room ) and I could have lounged in the comfy overstuffed living room chairs looking at the view all day

18. Comfortable stay at a vintage log cabin

The Shawnee cabin is a vintage property built in 1928 on what was once Ferguson Ranch. The cabin includes two bedrooms with comfy mattresses, a kitchen and a bathroom with a large shower. It is comfortable and inviting and has a nice, homely feel to it with its original knotty pine interiors. Its yard is also frequented by many elk, deer and birds, which are a delight to watch!

Loved the cabin and the cozy environment it provided
The cabin had everything we could want
The only negative thing I can say is outside area was overgrown with grass and weeds The picnic area was unusable due to the high grass
