Located near the enthralling Lone Peak Wilderness, Granite Flat Campground is a perfect place to camp amidst spruce, douglas fir, aspen, and pine trees at an altitude of 6,400 feet (1,950.7 meters). Head to Tibble Fork and Silver Flat Reservoirs nearby to enjoy rafting, kayaking, and fishing.

You can also try hiking, horseshoe pitching, sightsee Timpanogos Cave, and see wildlife in all its glory. Amenities such as grills, campfire rings, firewood, picnic tables, vault toilets, and a gorgeous baseball field are available here. Families and group campers will have a blast here.

Located in the Wasatch Mountains, Timpooneke Campground offers a spectacular camping experience along the striking Alpine Loop Scenic Byway for families. Enjoy a visual treat surrounded by fir, aspen, and spruce trees at an altitude of 7,400 feet (2,255.5 meters) at this popular campsite. In addition to this, Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Area is located in the nearby vicinity which adds to the lure of this camping ground.

Group, double, and single sites are available. You can bring your dog as well. Utility tables, picnic tables, campfire rings, horse corrals, vault toilets, and drinking water are available here. You can also try activities such as wildlife viewing, hiking, horseback riding, and biking to keep yourself busy and have some fun.

Mutual Dell Campground is a historic campsite operating since 1920. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints maintains the campground. At an elevation of 6,500 feet (1,981.2 meters), Mutual Dell Campground is bordered by the Uinta National Forest. It houses 12 campsites featuring 2 to 3 tables, potable water, a charcoal barbeque, a fire ring, and 6 to 12 tent sites.

Parking is available near the family camps. The site also includes an outdoor amphitheater that can accommodate 500 guests. The visitors can also have fun with activities such as zip line and canoeing, as well as having a ball of a time at horseshoe pits, volleyball court, and ball field.

Diamond Campground is in an open setting located among the shady cottonwoods and willow trees of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This campground is about 15 miles (24.1 kilometers) from Spanish Fork, and it features several campsites that cater to all kinds of travelers — from single sites to family and group sites. No matter which type you pick, you’ll have access to the same amenities, such as picnic tables, fire rings, utility tables, and cement site pads.

You’ll never run out of recreational things to do here as well. Diamond Fork Stream and Wanrhodes Creek run through this campground, so you’re free to fish for brown and cutthroat trout. You can also follow the nature trails nearby to explore the wooded area. Biking along off-road vehicle trails is another popular pastime among visitors.
