Other Mama is the brain child of Chef Dan Krohmer. He started with slicing fish in a Japanese restaurant in Sacramento and since has spent years studying sushi in Japan. Krohmer has also worked under the sushi master Masaharu Morimoto himself. The restaurant’s highlight is their raw bar where you could enjoy an array of sushi, sashimi, and ceviche. They have a simple menu but everything you eat will certainly be filled with umami and will surely leave you satiated. They also have wines and brews compiled by award-winning mixologists.

Hash House a Go Go serves Midwest-inspired cuisine and specializes in what one would call comfort food such as pancakes, pork sandwiches, meatloaf–but they are all made with quality ingredients that come straight from a farm and have a certain Hash House twist. Their take on the classic chicken and waffles is a must-try. For beverages, give the traditional Bloody Mary and cocktails with Huckleberry and clam juice a go. Delish!

This joint will transport you to Asia with its delicious food. Komol Restaurant, a small quaint place on East Sahara Avenue, serves up vegetarian Asian cuisine. The cubby-hole is warm and welcoming with flower paintings and potted flowers creating a serene ambiance. They have a healthy menu of Thai bites, including pineapple fried rice, panang curry, and a number of colorful and delicious salads. They also get brownie points for being Instagram-ready!

Although this place is a chain found across the United States, you can never go wrong with a meal at Maggiano’s Little Italy when you’re hungry, and especially craving for classic Italian eats. The restaurant at Summerlin has a menu that offers everything from candied bacon bruschetta, calamari fries, to chicken and spinach manicotti. The food is delicious, flavorful and very affordable!

Monta Noodle House is a household name for their Kurume-style tonkotsu ramen. This ramen has a broth made from pork bones and a special soy sauce that Monta NoodleHouse imports from Japan. Flock & Fowl serves food the right way - the way they would serve their families, with ingredients all made in-house, including two different soy sauces! They do not use MSG and believe food should be clean, pure, and healthy. All this comes from a two-time James Beard award-winner Sheridan Su, who started Flock & Fowl to make the perfect bowl of chicken rice–which now the world gets to enjoy!
