Bangkok plays host to a range of 5-star hotels, but the Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok stands out as a fantastic choice for travelers looking for a measure of peace and quiet, yet stay within easy distance to the city’s vibrant nightlife. Overlooking the East Bank of the Chao Phraya River, you can step out on to the balcony and view the river traffic right below you.

Beyond its spot beside the waterway, the Chatrium Hotel allows her guests to partake in a range of world-class amenities, from an international buffet spread to a luxurious rooftop pool.

The rooms of Chatrium Riverside Hotel

The essential aspect of every hotel. Ignore the posh gym, the sumptuous buffet or even the luxurious rooftop pool for a second. The room is where you will be residing in. The port where you will dock your body and recharge for the next day. The Chatrium does not disappoint in this aspect.

The room itself comes with ample furnishing. A work desk lets you rush out work emails in comfort or charge the number of electronic devices you might have packed for the trip. A pantry furnished with mini-fridge, sink, and the microwave oven will help fend off any minute hunger pangs as you prepare to tackle the dinner buffet on the first floor.

Not forgetting the spacious bathroom. WIth a tub and bathing salts, soak away all your worries and forget about pesky deadlines for a while. The toiletry kit includes miscellaneous personal grooming tools allowing you to look and feel your best before you head out for the day.

A 35-meter (115 foot) infinity pool that lets you gaze out over Bangkok. You are afforded unblocked views of the surroundings should you choose to take a dip, or just grab a Gin & Tonic from the bar nearby. Towels can be found right beside it. For the little ones, or those looking for a more relaxing experience, two kids’ pools and an outdoor hot tub fit the bill.

Meals at the Chatrium Riverside Hotel

Head over to the River Barge restaurant to partake in their International dinner buffet. Choose from local specialties like the ever-familiar Pad Thai, or choose something different, from fresh sushi to steak on the grill. Various stations offer up dishes that are cooked live, ensuring optimal freshness right onto your plate.

With wide windows, furnishings adorned in a cool blue shade with gold highlights, the River Barge restaurant draws inspiration from the Suphannahong Royal Barge. Settle in and grab a plate and let the feasting begin. The restaurant offers up their signature buffet utilizing the live cooking stations between Sunday and Wednesday. Head in to sample Siamese cuisine every Thursday night, while the ‘Remarkable Riverside Dinner Buffet’ takes place on Fridays and Saturdays. Every day promises a feast of epic proportion.
