This property is just about a 30-minute drive from the town of Küssnacht, the site of Klausjagen. Once upon a time, pagan ancestors of the Christian Swiss noisily chased wild spirits. This was not approved by the authorities or the church. In the 19th century, the procession was “Christianized,” and the procession was clearly organized into six stages in the 20th century.
The stages include men with long two-handed sheep whips, the men in "iffelen" or "infuln," luminous headdresses, and St. Nicholas with four servants, known as "Shmutslis," who hand out cakes. They are followed by a brass band playing a traditional Klaus song, and a large group that rings the "Tricheln," a giant version of cow bells.
The procession ends with men who blow on cow horns before everyone goes to local taverns.

Just a six-minute drive from this property is Sechseläutenplatz. Here, witness Zürich's annual procession of guilds. It's a commemoration of a revolutionary decision made by the city council stating that the working day officially ends at 6pm from the vernal equinox. The Grossmunster bells ring exactly six times at 6 o’clock in the evening as a reminder. This is where the name of the holiday comes from – Sächsilüüte or Six Rings.
During this holiday, representatives of guilds from the city and other cantons—some in costume or on horseback—march from the railway station to Sechseleutenplatz. Since 1902, the commemoration has concluded with the burning of Böögg, which symbolizes winter. The faster his head burns, the hotter the summer will be! After, sausages are fried on the coals.
