During your stay, walk to the Rockefeller Center for some gorgeous views of the city. This was the first viewpoint I visited in New York, and it was one of my favourites!
The Top of the Rock is an observatory deck right on top of the Rockefeller Center - floor 70. Although it is not the tallest observatory deck in New York, it has one of the best views of the city, including the Empire State Building. However, its famous for Butcher & Banker, the in-house steakhouse and bar that is nestled in 1920s-era bank vault.
There is also a well-equipped gym, and a Sky Lounge on the 39th floor of the building from where you can soak up the panoramic views of Manhattan.
