2. Mission Community Market

This establishment is an open market place, founded in 2010 with the aim of creating opportunities for fresh and healthy farmers to produce and encourage after-school programs to initiate fun and to improve the general health of the community. 3. Alemany Farmer’s Market
Also known as the people’s market, the Alemany Farmer’s Market is the oldest farmers market in California. It was opened in 1943 with the goal to assist farmers to sell their excess farm produce during the war. It was formally located at the corner of Duboce but later moved to its current location in 1947.
