Canada has a, largely, multicultural population with immigrants from all races, and they hail from countries with distinct practices and beliefs which also include dietary restrictions for the more religious lot. Much like eating beef is a problem for a lot of Hindus and only kosher is allowed for Jews, practicing Muslims face a dietary restriction of halal food. With the rapid development in food and cuisine in Kingston, many food establishments have realized the supply gap for such restaurants and have adapted to the demands of the market to serve food to their customers in compliance with these procedures.
The growth of halal-certified restaurants owing to demand from the Muslim population as well as the non-Muslim population, on account of the good quality of ingredients used, has brought plenty of halal restaurants to Kingston. Here’s a list of the best halal restaurants in Kingston, Canada, curated by Trip101 for you, and they’re a healthy mix of fast food chain restaurants and freshly prepared homelike dining spots so that your taste buds are never bored.
