In 1899, Thomas Hodgens built this property and later sold the house to John D. Ryan, President of the Montana Power Company. He expanded the structure and made it the beautiful historic mansion you see today.

The mansion, which is a remnant of the Industrial Revolution, now serves as a vacation spot in Butte, offering comfortable accommodations for short and extended stays.
