The unique feature of Kuta Lagoon Resort lies in its long winding swimming pool that stretches from one end to the other of the hotel. This ‘lagoon-like pool’ is located between two blocks of two-storey hotel rooms (deluxe rooms upstairs and pool access room on the ground level). Hence, swimming here is like swimming along your very own private calm 'fishless’ lagoon where the pool is just a few steps away from your room! There is also a bar (Tunjung bar) located in the pool area and nothing is better than spending your evening here while having cocktails like the sweet and sour Margarita or the sweet and refreshing Singapore Sling!
Private pool
A pool access room costs 75 USD. However, if you prefer to have more privacy, you can book a pool villa (110 USD) or suite with hot tub (166 USD) for a room with a private swimming pool. If budget is your preference, book a standard room from 31 USD. Although there are no swimming pool in front of the balcony nor private pool, rooms are spacious, clean with decent facilities like free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, cable TV, private bathroom with hot shower, IDD phone and safe deposit box.
Yummy buffet breakfast
Although breakfast is not included in the rate, most guests still prefer to have their buffet breakfast (7 USD per person, half price for children) in one of the hotel’s restaurants named Lagoon cafe. They change the menus everyday but most of the time they serve Western foods (try their bacon, it’s soft and savory) and local cuisine such as ‘nasi kuning; (rice steamed with turmeric and coconut oil). Besides fruits, there are various pastries like donuts, pancakes and croissants with butter and jams.
Wonderful hotel staffs
A hotel with fantastic facilities is nothing without hospitable helpful staffs. When you stay there for more than one day, most of them will remember you and start to greet you by your name. They know how to make their guests happy. Celebrating special occasions? Just let the manager at Lagoon cafe know and they may prepare a small surprise. Complimentary!

Located in central Kuta, yet serene
The hotel is located in the center of Kuta, 15 to 20 minute walk from Kuta beach with shops, banks (go to Commonwealth bank for the best money exchange rate), bars and restaurants around. However, despite being so close to these conveniences, it is very quiet. This is because the hotel is located in an alley, a few hundred meters away from the main road, where fewer motor vehicles pass by. You can still hear some noises in the reception area, but as you reach the ‘lagoon’ area, you won’t hear any street noises at all.
