Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh Brewery & Restaurant is a great Bavarian bar and restaurant with incredible views of the riverfront, located in the Southside Works district. Hofbräuhaus is family-friendly as they provide a separate kids menu, with kids’ meals being served with their choice of beverage. Adults of the group, don’t forget to order Hofbräuhaus’ famous beer which is brewed on-site daily, and still uses the original recipe from the Duke of Bavaria over 400 years ago.

Kids will love the simple, customisable menu at Stack’d as well as the delicious milkshakes that are on offer. Smaller portions of the sides and appetisers may be of greater appeal to those with smaller appetites, with pierogies, fried mac and cheese, and nachos available as separate portions. The shakes on the menu really piqued our interest, particularly the pretzel caramel and the chocolate peanut butter varieties.

It’s always an elegant affair at Atria’s, but the warm and welcoming service will put you and your family at ease so you feel comfortable and ready for your meal. Although there is no kids’ menu listed online, Atria has a special menu with more than the usual fish fingers for children–we are told that the three-cheese tortellini is a favourite amongst the younger generation!
