Please take down this article - almost none of the places listed in this list are kosher! This is insulting to those that keep kosher and could seriously mislead a tourist to go out of their way to a non-kosher restaurant. Please do your research properly. Babi's is closed down and is replaced by a new (kosher) cafe and the Ottawa Bagel Shop has kosher bagels but THAT'S IT - it's restaurant food is NOT KOSHER. You actually wrote about shrimp and bacon in a review about kosher food?! This article is terribly misleading and demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of what kosher is. As another commenter said, kosher is a strictly supervised process, not a style of food! Please remove this article - it is embarrassing to have on a website meant to give reputable travel advice.

I am sorry, but there was a massive error in this article. Kosher, is a very strict we have eating according to Jewish law. It’s not a Jewish style food. Like Indian food, Thai food, or Chinese food. When you say something is kosher, that means that it is supervised by a Jewish community, ( an orthodox rabbi) that this restaurant does not mix milk and meat,(or even dishes) and there is no Meat served from not kosher animals or fish and much more. This article should be edited to clarify that none of these restaurants are actually Kosher, (how tricky!) and Babis closed down. Truthfully there are 0.
