With large luxury hotels and golf courses dotting the landscape and oceanfront. The city caters to tourists with most of the population working in the tourist industry. Onno’s Alto de Chavon is actually a chain operating in several spots throughout the Dominican Republic. And it certainly has a reputation for being a great spot to grab a drink (or two) and enjoy some great food while you’re at it. Drink some world famous mojitos and have some affordable dishes on the side. Think upscale pub food. It’s good for a dinner night out or even just a side plate to absorb some of that alcohol after a few rum inspired cocktails.
