Good Tip

⛽ Filling Station Bar And Cafe

I felt like I was sent back in time when I entered this 1950s diner-inspired restaurant in Poblacion, Makati. 🤩 The establishment's ambiance, adorned with life-sized figurines and vibrant neon lights, created an ideal setting for relaxation and photos! While they offered a wide variety of food and drinks, the chocolate milkshake captured my heart on this particular night. 😋

Since its inception, Black Market is known for its unique ability to throw a cool party. Music here doesn’t include the typical pop music you constantly hear on the radio, but instead all sorts of underground music whose novelty just adds to the fun. Black Market also serves unlimited drinks from 12 mn - 3 am, and features Finders Keepers, a speakeasy lounge bar where you can hang out if you get tired from all the dancing.

Finders Keepers

If you're going to Black Market, make sure to bring an ID with you that shows you're of legal age; otherwise, you won't be allowed to enter, as one of the members of our group experienced. So, we ended up going to the adjacent bar, Finders Keepers, which turned out to be great. It had just the right energy for us, the right kind of music and crowd—neither rowdy nor too loud. Also, you'll love its interior. It has a prohibition-like vibe with candles and a swing. Additionally, it's unrecognizable from the outside. The entrance to this nightspot is a black gate made, I think, from crates.
