Roswell Army Air Field and Walker Air Force Base was home to the Strategic Air Command’s strongest fighting force, and the museum is where you can get more information about the history of the bases and how important they were to the security of the country. In addition to covering military aviation, the museum also has artefacts that showcase the value of families that were a significant part of military life.

Since it was opened, this museum has managed to expand into a 50,000-square-foot (4645-square-metre) facility that houses Robert H. Goddard Planetarium, Patricia Lubben Bassett Art Education Center, and 12 galleries that are dedicated to the exhibition of art and history. The museum also offers music and art classes to the public for free.
