3. Wusheng Night Market
A trip to Taiwan wouldn’t be complete without visiting a night market or two, in fact, they have numerous night markets all over the country, which features different highlights, yet has the same offerings. One of them is the Wusheng Night Market. If other night markets are proud of their food stalls, Wusheng is a carnival of gaming machines. Here, you’ll find numerous gaming stalls that include a pinball machine, a shooting game, throwing hoops, mahjong tables, and more. They also have an outdoor toy auction, wherein sellers market their product to sell it for a higher price. Other things you’ll find here are food, clothes, accessories, shoe stalls.

4. Xiaobei Night Market
Unlike other night markets in Tainan that is located outdoors, Xiaobei Night Market is in a department store-like building and has been operating since 1984, making it the longest running night market in Taiwan. It is famous for its variety of stalls ranging from food to merchandise. Few of the things that locals and foreigners alike come back for is the food vendors that serve Taiwanese eel noodles and coffin bread. The property is also located close to Tainan Park, one of the must-visit attractions in this historical city. 5. Da Dong Night Market
The next largest night market in Taiwan is Dadong Night Market and is open on the days the Tainan Flower Night Market is closed. Like in the Tainan Night Market, Dadong’s highlight is also the numerous food stalls, but unlike other night markets, the price here is reasonable. The best day to visit the place is during Fridays, for it is often packed with university students from the nearby school, looking to refresh their mind after a week of studying. Another unique feature of the Dadong is its outdoor auctioning, if you haven’t seen one, make sure to visit and see one happen with your own eyes.
