The capital city of Namibia, Windhoek, is a one of a kind place. The city is constantly growing, new places are opening all the time, new neighborhoods built, facilities are being brought closer to the people. Windhoek’s city center is rather compact, it is quite easy to walk from one place to the next, making pub crawling or bar crawling an activity easy to organize. The nightlife in Windhoek is lively, with many places where locals, tourists and expats mingle and have fun together. Depending on your mood and taste, you might want to choose a bar, a club or a beer house. If you’re not sure what your options, see the most popular places below.

Namibia's diversity starts in Windhoek

With its many different tribes, the very diverse landscape and its complex history, Namibia is the country of diversity. In Windhoek, the diversity is easily noticeable. The split between the different neighborhoods, the discrepancy between the city center and the township, even the bars and restaurants point out contrasts. Do take the time to explore Windhoek, it’s worth it.
