The County Line chain seems to be famous for its legendary barbeque, and the Hill location doesn’t differ on that. It’s actually hard to say if people prefer to come here for its incredible food or the spectacular 32 km (20-mile) views of the lovely Texas Hill Country. Or probably both. Dishes include barbeque platters, sandwiches, and tacos, from the grill, and also signature salads, such as the Garden Fresh Mixed Greens with smoked turkey breast, while they do use gluten-free items for those requesting it. Organizing a private event here during sunset will be just heavenly.

2. Oasis Texas Brewing Company

Award-winning hand-crafted beers, excellent food, and stunning views of Lake Trevis are three very important reasons to visit this gorgeous taproom. Among the menu items, you will find shareable plates, like Salvadoran salsa, a crispy brussel sprout salad, numerous delicious sandwiches, vegan bowls, and a la carte sides, all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. As for the beers, there is a large variety of year-round ones as well as seasonal, all as fresh as it gets. There is also a happy hour from Tuesday to Friday from 2pm to 4pm.

The Line is a chain of splendid hotels, one of which is located in Austin. Arlo Grey is one of Line Hotel’s restaurants in Austin, situated in Town Lake. The fabulous lakeside restaurant is started by Top Chef 10 winner Kristen Kish, whose culinary style was developed through world traveling, French and Italian traditions, as well as a good exploration of Texas ingredients. The place is open for breakfast, weekend brunch, and dinner, while the views of Town Lake are more than striking.

This family-run restaurant is located on Colorado River, East Austin, and offers an exquisite ranch-to-table dining experience in a splendid green environment with great river views. The Jacoby family breeds their own cattle in natural ways without giving them hormones or antibiotics, while other animals, like goats, sheep, or pork are also raised by them. The menu features vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian dishes, alongside the main meat platters. During happy hours (Tuesday all night, among others!) you get burgers for 10$ each.
