The capital of the US state of Texas, and the fastest growing large city in the United States, Austin is a place with lots of lakes and parks, ideal for swimming, biking, hiking, and boating. Considered also ‘The Live Music Capital of the World’, Austin has a very vibrant live-music scene, mostly focused on rock, country, and blues. It is also considered a 'clean-air’ city thanks to its no-smoking policies. Among its plentiful beauties, visitors can enjoy a 3-acre swimming pool at Zilker Park, the iconic Capitol building, an exciting Museum of Art, and many more. Perhaps one of the best ways to explore and admire the surroundings of Austin is to visit any of the following amazing restaurants with a view in Austin, for both gastronomy and views.

1. County Line on the Hill
Posted by County Line on the Hill on Saturday, 29 September 2018
The County Line chain seems to be famous for its legendary barbeque, and the Hill location doesn’t differ on that. It’s actually hard to say if people prefer to come here for its incredible food or the spectacular 32 km (20-mile) views of the lovely Texas Hill Country. Or probably both. Dishes include barbeque platters, sandwiches, and tacos, from the grill, and also signature salads, such as the Garden Fresh Mixed Greens with smoked turkey breast, while they do use gluten-free items for those requesting it. Organizing a private event here during sunset will be just heavenly.

Awarded as World’s Coolest Hotel Pool by TravelAgent Central 2017, Azul Rooftop Bar sits on the 20th floor of the Westin Austin Downtown hotel and is admittedly one of the best outdoor bars in Austin. After you dine here with amazing food, it’s time to relax at the lounge by the pool, enjoying a spicy blood orange margarita or a glass of beer or wine. Fire pits are turned on after the sunset, so the place becomes pretty atmospheric, while the city views, especially on a sunset, are some of the best around here.
