Pretoria is undeniably one of the most handsome cities in South Africa. Also referred to as the ‘Jacaranda City’, owing to the thousands of Jacaranda trees planted all over; the city has a very welcoming vibe, which tourists find very pleasant. There are several things to do here, which include visiting architectural wonders, nightclubs, shopping malls, restaurants, and much more. As for your stay, you can book one of the best cheap resorts or an Airbnb vacation rental.
According to the official tourism website of Guateng, Pretoria’s history is deeply intertwined with that of South Africa. This cafe has a very interesting way of describing themselves - having the “best coffee in the solar system, breakfast for all-day orbit and lunch for afternoon velocity.” Being a coffee lover, I would love to visit this place. The cafe offers a wonderful setting but what makes it worth is the gorgeous view that you get while you are sipping hot coffee or gorging on any of their delicacies. There are different categories of the menu such as breakfast and grab & go, lunch, and moonshot express.

Positioned on the Waterkloof Golf Course, the view from here is extremely elegant and over the east of Pretoria. An architectural delight, the rooftop gives a secluded and cosy dining experience. During the evening, you can stargaze while enjoying a sumptuous dinner. The menu here is strongly focused on specific South African flavors. As an explorer, I would love to sample the flavors and dishes when I visit here. Millionaire’s All Sorts is a wonderful blend of Prawn, Scallop and Foie Gras that is served with a Sambuca-and-blackberry All Sort. Also, other dishes like Crayfish Tank and Something Fishy are simply awesome. There are a lot of options for wine and dessert lovers too.

There is unique blend of architecturally adorned interiors, the hand-selected floral arrangements on the tables and the meticulously cooked dishes, that not only display the Chefs’ culinary skills, but also the staff’s attention to detail. Carlita's Restaurant

Carlita’s Restaurant will definitely give you one of the most magical views from its verandas. As it is positioned in the Hills Game Reserve Estate, there is a lot of landscaped view surrounding it. Furthermore, this Portuguese-themed restaurant provides you with a view that goes beyond an extremely well-maintained lawn, across a dam, and also you get to see a bit of the residential suburbs of Pretoria East. You can spend a late afternoon till the place bathes in the sunset. A yummy platter with cocktails to start with and may finish it with a seafood pasta. I would love to visit this restaurant and experience its peaceful vibes.
