Parking and food choice aplenty
Each suite has undercover parking as well as extra parking spaces if need be. However, you will find you won’t need to use your car much as the resort is located opposite the Papamoa Plaza and Fashion Island, which has a range of eating places and shopping stores. The beach is located at the end of the main street; Domain Road is only a 5-minute walk. There are supermarkets, taverns and pubs as well as a petrol station all within 2 minutes of the resort.
The resort also offers in-house catering right to your room. You have the option to cook your own meals too, with a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven and fridge. Cutlery and kitchen items are available too.
Everything you need at your fingertips
The lounge and dining areas in each suite are large and comfortable with Sky TV. There is a stand alone bath and a shower in the bathrooms with a separate space for toilet. Each suite is also equipped with a washing machine and dryer, so everything you need is available in your unit. Everything from towels, hair dryers and shampoo and washing powder are also provided for each suite.
The rooms are very reasonable and prices start from around 100 USD. This resort is very popular and tends to be booked for the summer months (December-February) early, although it is easier to get a room during the rest of the year. If you are planning to book for the summer, you should do so as early as possible.
Comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities
Each bedroom has either twin singles or a queen size bed. The beds are comfortable and covered in quality linen. There is plenty of storage space with most rooms having their own cupboards and small side tables with drawers for guest use. Curtains and blinds in each room provide privacy and warmth in the winter months.
Easily accessible to attractions
From Papamoa Palms Resort, it is only a short drive to Mount Maunganui and Tauranga that will take approximately 10 minutes. In the other direction is the thermal tourist hub, Rotorua, which is only an hour’s drive from the resort. There is plenty to do if you wanted to see what the Bay of Plenty has to offer without changing hotels. This resort is an excellent choice if you are staying in Papamoa and is ideal for small and larger family groups. It is a nice quiet beachside escape and very reasonably priced.
