Southeast Asia has undergone tremendous economic changes in the last 60 years. The region is booming and so is the shopping culture. Apart from online shops and e-commerce, traditional markets with many stalls and luxurious and opulent malls are gaining more popularity every day. In this article, we look at Vietnam, where tourists like them because of the price difference compared to their countries (and to be honest - AC, at times), and young people because of fancy brands and selfie opportunities. Let’s not forget cafés and entertainment options such as karaoke or cinema. You will notice that many places on our list are even owned by the same company - take Vincom for example. The conglomerate behind it builds new malls every year, runs amusement parks, schools, and hospitals, manufactures cars - we could go on. Whether it is bustling Saigon or historical Hanoi, with this list you will be ready. Without further ado, find out about the best shopping malls in Vietnam here.

Hoi An and Da Nang are tourist hot spots of South Central Vietnam. The fifth-largest city of Vietnam and a former military airbase, Danang now attracts beach lovers and people that flock the highly Instagrammable Golden Bridge, supported by giant hands. Therefore this mall caters to locals, expats, and tourists, as well. The building looks more humble then previous ones but there is all they might need. It is more pricey, though, and with several Parksons closing in Vietnam, let’s see what the future holds for it.
